Fetch dog New Fetch 5

Basics

Fetch is an easy-to-use, full-featured file transfer client for the Apple Macintosh. Fetch supports FTP and SFTP, the two most popular file transfer protocols on the Internet, for compatibility with thousands of Internet service providers, web hosting companies, publishers, pre-press companies, and more.

Fetch features include automatic support for StuffIt, Zip, Tar, Gzip and other common file formats, editing text or image files directly on a server, Bonjour (Rendezvous) support, Unicode file names, synchronizing folders using the Mirror command, automating repetitive tasks with AppleScript recording, and extensive online help.

File Transfer

The most important job of an FTP/SFTP client is to move files, and Fetch makes this as easy as pressing the "Put..." and "Get..." buttons, or simply dragging file icons between Fetch and the Finder. You can transfer not only files, but entire folders and directories, with a single command. Fetch includes support for more file formats than any other FTP client, and includes sophisticated logic to automatically select the right format or transfer mode. Fetch even lets you transfer files and directories directly between two servers, simply by dragging the icons from one to the other.

Navigation

Fetch's user interface emphasizes simplicity and ease of use, including a toolbar that puts the commands you need most at your fingertips and a file list modeled on the familiar Mac OS X Finder.

Compatibility

Fetch is compatible with a wide range of FTP servers, from mainframes and high-end servers to Macintosh and Windows computers, and even servers embedded in prepress, image processing, and medical imaging systems. For the Mac user, Fetch 5 is compatible with Mac OSX 10.2.4 or newer, including the current release of OS X 10.4, Tiger.

Guarantee

If Fetch does not perform adequately for you within 30 days of purchase Fetch will refund your payment, no questions asked.
